Joanna’s Incredibly Calm Birth

Our birth story today comes from Joanna:

“Stanley Roscoe Snellin was born on Sunday at home after the most incredible calm birth. After the birth of my first baby (back to back, in hospital, totally numbed emotionally and physically by epidural) I really wanted to experience a natural home birth and I don’t know how I’d have done it without the help of The Calm Birth School. I was so relaxed I fell asleep between contractions and the midwives couldn’t believe how peaceful the whole atmosphere was.

What you’re doing to empower women in birth, pregnancy and beyond is amazing and I will be singing your praises to anyone who will listen. So thank you so much Suzy and Hollie from the bottom of my heart. Stanley is the sweetest, calmest baby and I’m sure his birth has a lot to do with that”
