Birth story of the week

We do love a birth story over here at The Calm Birth School, check out this one from the amazing Amy 🙂

I got my calm, natural home birth! Baby Verity was born this morning at 0942, so quickly I didn’t get into the pool! She’s 9lb 6 and 1/2 oz and from first contraction to birth was about 6 hours. Breathing techniques got me through to pushing stage which was only 12 mins. It was amazing! She’s feeding like a pro but we’re in hospital as her blood sugars are slightly low and I needed stitching. All is good and we’re all very happy.
