Hi I’m Jess, I live in Northern Ireland, with my two beautiful children and my husband.
I have worked in mental health for over 6 years and health and social care for nearly 10 years. I am passionate about mental health, but more passionate about people and their well being. I had my first son in 2019 and signed on to a hypnotherapy course, when he was around 1, in an effort to find myself again, outside of motherhood. When I started the course I didn’t understand the impact that hypnotherapy can have on someone. As the course went on, I began to see positive changes in the individuals I worked with and was hooked. I qualified as a hypnotherapist in November 2022, with a second son in tow. The shift pattern that I had become accustomed to in my years in health care, was no longer feasible with two small children and I wanted a change. I knew I wanted to start my own business, but felt like I wanted to know more about hypnobirthing specifically. I came across The calm birth school by chance, and fell in love with their ethos and values almost immediately.
Birth does not have to be a necessary evil or something that is to be feared. It does not have to be something that is endured to ‘get to the good part’. I want to support all birthing individuals to feel empowered and confident in the choices they make surrounding their birth experience. If you want to go into labour armed with tools and techniques, feeling confident and assured in your abilities, hypnobirthing may be for you.
Feel free to get in contact with me for a free consultation, no strings attached. Discover if the tools and techniques you will learn throughout the hypnobirthing course can support you throughout your pregnancy, labour and beyond.
