My name is Teresa and I’m excited to announce that I am now part of the SONA Mum Team alongside Jade and Georgina!

A year ago my husband and I took part in the SONA Mum hypnobirthing classes in Stonehaven and the techniques and relaxation we learned helped us greatly during the birth of our daughter Cora. Our little girl is now just over five months old and has been a little whirlwind of change to our lives!

Having used hypnobirthing during labour I became inspired of teaching myself so that I can help other expectant mums to have a more positive birth experience, too.

I am doing additional training in mindful breastfeeding to offer antenatal breastfeeding advice and postnatal support. Further I am going to offer additional sessions on baby loss and fear release as that is another topic I am very passionate about and which I feel is often overlooked as nobody speaks about it.

Birth is such a miraculous, amazing thing and to be sharing somebody’s pregnancy and birth journey and hopefully offer advice, positivity and confidence is a wonderful thing to do for a living!

My family and I live in South Aberdeenshire and after my maternity leave I will be covering classes in Stonehaven and Montrose. Clients will also be able to book One-to-One sessions with me in South Aberdeenshire and Angus.

I look forward to chatting to you and meeting you and of course I am very excited to be part of your pregnancy and birth journeys!

All the very best
Teresa x
