Hi, I’m Elaine, I’m a newly qualified Hypnobirthing instructor based in Falkirk, Scotland.

Giving birth for me was an amazing experience. My first birth was exactly how I had planned. I used hypnobirthing techniques and I had a calm, relaxed water birth where I felt in control birthing my daughter. My second birth was extremely fast. I gave birth at home with my husband delivering my son before we even had time to call for an ambulance. Although it was a very different experience both my husband and I felt in control.

I am confident that both my positive experiences were down to my preparation. After all you wouldn’t run a marathon with no training so why would you birth a baby with no preparation? Hypnobirthing helped me to visualise a calm and confident labour. It changed the way I felt about giving birth and allowed me to feel positive and excited about what was ahead. I trusted my body knew exactly what to do.

That’s why I decided to become a hypnobirthing instructor; to help even more mothers have the most positive birth experience they deserve, no matter what path their labour takes.

My aim is to support you to feel calm and confident and transform how you feel about pregnancy and birth. Let me give you the tools and knowledge that you need to feel informed and in control. Hypnobirthing is for anyone who wants to enter parenthood feeling empowered.
